What Data We Collect

When you use GoldMate, we collect:

Email address and password (for authentication)
Business profile information you provide (business name, ABN, phone, address)
Financial data you enter (transactions, invoices, bills)
Usage data (pages visited, features used)

How We Use Your Data

To provide the GoldMate service (dashboards, reports, insights)
To improve our product and fix issues
To communicate with you about your account

We never sell your data. We never share your financial information with third parties.

Where Your Data is Stored

Your data is stored on servers located in Sydney, Australia (via Supabase). All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and in transit using TLS 1.2+. Our infrastructure is SOC 2 Type II compliant.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as you have an active account. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Your Rights

Under Australian Privacy Law, you have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your data (CSV export available in the app)
Lodge a complaint with the OAIC (Office of the Australian Information Commissioner)
